Brian Larson is the founder of Northeast Gospel Broadcasting. Working in radio broadcast for years, Brian couldn’t wait for the day to be able to touch people’s lives with his own broadcast station. In 1985, Brian was finally able to realize that goal with the establishment of WNGN.
He has earned an AAS in Marketing/Management, a BS in Management, and an MS in Non-Profit Management. He is licensed by the New York State education department as a teacher of broadcasting. In the past, Brian has held various director and manager positions in addition to his radio personality responsibilities at several stations including WTRY and WPYX.
Brian has authored three books, one of which he released with John Caldwell, a notable author and cartoonist, when Caldwell was releasing his first book. Larson was also written about in Billboard magazine, which is categorically the most recognized and influential entertainment publication in existence.
“If you were to ask me what the most exciting time of my life was, I would say, ‘Right now,’” Larson said, “because with age I’ve learned that it’s not the cars; it’s not the riches; it’s not the accolades; it’s not the success, but it’s because the world is better because we’ve been here.”
Brian lives in Johnsonville, NY. He is a father of two. |
